School's out for summer!

Today ended my freedom, er, I mean, it was the last day of school. Logan only went for an 1 1/2 (why even bother?). To celebrate, we went to Chuck E. Flees (Carl seriously hates this place, but I did bring my hand sanitizer.) I had some great coupons, and the kids have been begging me to go for a long time, so, why not?

Colton has started to give me the cheezer smile. But it's oh, so cute. He seriously loved the little rides.

Have you ever seen a face of such dedication to a game?

Colton was a little leary of the big clock behind his head, it took him a few rotations to decide that this was a fun ride.

Rapping up a fun day with a slice of pizza! What a way to kick off our summer. Next week we're going to Maryland, and the following week the boyz are going to Idaho and Yellowstone. So what are your summer plans?

My little graduate

Today Ethan had his last day of pre-school. They had a little program where they sang some of the songs they had learned throughout the year. All week Ethan had mixed feelings about today. He was excited to graduate, but very sad that school was going to be over. When we were watching the little slide show of the kids, he was extremely quite. I said that he had so many friends in class. Well that started the water works. When they went up to sing, he was a little ball of tears. He's my little sweetie!

Ethan was so proud to get a diploma. Isn't he just the cutest little graduate you ever saw?

Ethan and his teachers. The pregnant one is his teacher and the other two are the aides. He was so sad to say good-bye to them. It's so great that he loves school so much. I hope that he always has this love to learn!

Weekend with Mom-mom

Carl's mom came out from Maryland for the weekend for a wedding in Boise. Thursday we picked her up from the airport and spent the day with her sister and family. (Carl's cousin was the groom) Friday, Carl and the boys joined her as they drove to Boise, while I was left home to work. On the way home they went to This is the Point. The boys had a great time spending some time with their Mom-mom!

Watching the clouds, and hanging out with Mom-mom.

3 cuties at the Boise Temple.

The boys with Mom-mom and her parents.

It was a great time to have Mom-mom here. The boys were sad to see her go. We will probably be out in Maryland for Auntie Lauren's graduation in a few weeks.

Online Journal site

I've found the coolest thing! LDSJournals is an online private journal site. Completely private, you can even add pictures and print in book form. It has email reminders to help you in case you forget. I'm totally loving this! I have a link half-way down my blog to their site. Check it out!!

Thursday night we went to Idaho for my Dad's graduation. He never got his Bachelor's Degree when he was younger and for the past several years has been working hard to get it finally done. I'm so proud of him getting this done for himself. He even graduated Summa cum laude! He is extremely busy with work and church callings and normal family life, so I'm sure it hasn't been easy. I'm so proud of you dad!! Love ya!

Way to go dad!

Day with the Dinos

This morning I had a migraine (a small one) and decided to take some paid time off from work. Carl was planning on taking the boys to the Dino museum at Thanksgiving Point, so I decided to join them. The boys had so much fun! Colton loves "saur-saurs."

They say they've only found 2% of the dino species in the world. I wonder how they know that if they don't really have a whole number to go off of.

The boys digging in the sand for dinosaurs.

Logan's and Ethan's drawings. So super cute. (Mind you, last year Ethan couldn't (wouldn't) even draw. He even spelled out the dinos name by himself to spell.

You always have to take your standard, "Oh no, the dino is eating me!!" picture!

Digging for dinos in the water and sand box. Ethan didn't want to get dirty and was playing on some computers. What a super fun day! Ironic as it is, it was a good day to get sick. I miss having Saturdays to play with my family. I can't wait until the end of next month when I go to 6:30 pm-12:30 Sun, Mon, Fri, Sat. It sounds bad, but was my #1 choice from what they offered. I can have Saturdays to play, and not have to take any time off for church.
