June is almost over, and we've been busy. Here's a summary of our summer, thus far. We had a very wet month, rain almost everyday. I love the rain, I absolutely love rainbows.

Jacksen turned 4 months!! He's average weight, but in the 97% for his height (meaning only 3 % of kids his age are taller than him.) He's a long, string string bean. He's started rice cereal, which he loves. And I think he's teething because he's ALWAYS chewing on his fist.

We went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house with my parents the day after they brought the boys home. (We also went to the Draper Temple in January.) I hope the boys will remember this experience and keep them excited to go for themselves when they're older.

fyi-a few weeks ago, during one of our huge rain storms, Moroni was struck by lightning! His horn, arm and face were completely black!. But by the time we came to the temple, he was already fixed. Poor Moroni!

The Elders Quorum did a pinewood derby. They had the track and all. It's all computerized now, much more accurate than when my brothers were in scouts.

Although, not a very fast car, Carl's car was 1st place in our hearts!

Father's Day! I am so very glad to have a wonderful husband who loves me and our boys. We had a very low key day at home.

I gave him stuff to make his very own sushi. We have a little Oriental market nearby, and they helped me find all the stuff I needed. Carl was super excited. He LOVES sushi. But the big surprise is that Logan loves it too.

Summer buzzes. What is cuter than a little fuzzy cue-ball head! (It also makes getting ready so much faster.)

What a deal! I got this pool half-off. The boys love it.

Logan loves to make a big splash.

Have you ever seen a 3 year-old ( or any one else) that can cross only one eye?! A talent that Carl, Ethan and Colton posses. Yes, I am very proud. Well that's our summer so far. Daily activities include some schoolwork-reading, writing (Ethan), learning times tables (Logan). I did this as a kid-hated it, but now see the value of not letting your brain turn to mush during the summer. The boys are in and out all day with friends. I'm glad that their friends are right next door so they don't have to go far. I hope you are having a fun summer, I love to see all your blogs!!
