Happy Turkey Day!
We went to Idaho for Thanksgiving. Here was a little guy that welcomed us to Grandma's. Funny story, later he was unplugged and deflated. Colton saw him and said, "Ohhhh, somebody hunted him."

Mr. Noah-look at those gorgeous blue eyes!! Notice the papers, we were planning our Black Friday plan of attack! We celebrated his birthday while we were all together. It made me sad because I realize MY baby is just over 2 months away from his birthday!
Noah and Jacksen both pulling their scrunched nose smile.
Yummmmmm.....I love Thanksgiving!! I love the turkey, potatoes, stuffing, the pies.......now I'm hungry again.
Jacksen enjoying grandma's delicious rolls.
I love the divided plates. No more jello in the stuffing!!

Colton really loves to ham up his pictures. For the past few weeks, at dinner, we went around the table listing things we are thankful for, and put a little been into a jar. It was fun to see what the boys are thankful for. I have so many things to be thankful for too. I have a loving family, jobs, and the gospel, just for starters.
The boys always love a ride on the 4-wheeler. They hitched up the sleds and tried to go in the field. Even though there wasn't really any snow, they had fun taking the ride- bumps and rocks and all.
So here's Jacksen in Noah's Jumperoo. He loved to bounce and bounce. Friday he bounced himself to sleep. When he woke up, he went right back to bouncing! Silly baby!
Friday night, we went to a little place that does dinner shows. They had a sleigh ride that went around the area with Christmas lights set up. We had fun singing songs, all bundled up. It was a fun way to start the Christmas holidays.
Daddy and Jacksen all bundled up, enjoying the ride.
There was a cute little Santa that the boys told their Christmas wishes to.
Poor baby! He sat on Santa's lap, and took one look at him, and burst into tears.

Colton did not want to sit on the lap of Santa in Idaho. He didn't want to go near him, even if we stood by him. Today we were at the mall and asked him if he wanted to talk to Santa. He did, if I went with him. He told Santa he wanted a pony, a reindeer and a dog. Somehow, I don't think he'll get any one of those. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving and took a moment to give thanks to the blessings in your life.

Halloween fun
So finally, here is all our Halloween stuff. I love, love, LOVE Halloween.
The weekend before Halloween, we had a little party for our kids and the neighbors. They had so much fun eating and playing games.
Ooooooh, spooky.
You can't go wrong with bobbing for apples.
One surprisingly warm day at the park. The boys had fun playing in the leaves.
The plan, all 4 boys, laying in the leaves, getting a cute shot from above. Colton didn't want to do it, Jacksen's crying, and Logan has his eyes closed. Oh well, it's a great memory!
Jacksen's first swing at the park.

The halloween costume that wasn't. Mom-mom had brought this for Jacksen, but whenever I'd put him in it, he did NOT like it. Oh well, she also brought the cutest vampire costume for next year.
Logan has no problem gutting his pumpkin. Ethan and Colton on the other hand, wouldn't touch them.
Our pumpkin creations. We were going up to Idaho for Halloween and a baby blessing, so we brought them with us.

Introducing my little niece, Makinley Nicole Curtis born on Oct. 8. She is such a cutie.
Well helloooo, cousin Logan.

Noah and Colton hanging out.
My brother Sir Erick, his damsel in distress Kathy, and the cutest little dragon, Noah.
2 of the cutest little dalmations ever!!
Our little spookables at grandma's house. Logan-Darth Vader, Ethan- Clone trooper (star wars), Colton- pirate, and Jacksen- dalmation
So we went trick-or-treating into Rigby. After about 10 houses, Colton say's he has "slivers." I look at his feet, only to realize he has NO SHOES!! I guess in the hurry of the night, this little detail was overlooked. Which is surprising that he didn't say anything. I guess he was excited to get going too. Thanks Dad for carrying him around to all the houses.
All the cousins on Makinley's big day.
Makinley's blessing day. Chad's shirt say's it all. We're so glad to have a little girl in the family. Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. Now it's on to Thanksgiving and Christmas. And yes, I am already listening to Christmas music. Love it!!

Our "stay-cation"
A few weeks ago, the boys had fall break at school. Friday, we went up to Salt Lake for a little stay-cation. We went to Temple Square and saw the Joseph Smith movie. I was doing good, until I saw Logan in tears. Well, then I completely lost it. It was touching to see that he can feel the spirit and feel it's power.
Salt Lake temple in the fall.
Not the best picture of the boys by the Christus statue, but you gotta love Colton's sass.
We spent the night in a hotel. The plan was for the older boys to share a bed. What the hotel claimed as a "queen" was not big enough, so we made a little bed for Colton on the floor.
The next morning, we ventured to Hogle Zoo. I was excited because within the last few months, there had been many babies born. My little baby loved to sit up in his stroller and see all the animals.
Don't forget animal crackers when going to the zoo!

Little Zuri was my favorite part of the zoo. Elephant's are pregnant for 21 months. No thank you!
Ethan kickin' it back!
The baby giraffe. Ok, so this was my favorite part of the zoo. I love giraffes!

Monkey see, monkey do.
A few months ago, 3 male tigers were born. One crossed the bridge, he was a little cutie.
We had so much fun at the zoo. It was beautiful weather, even though it was October. Afterward we went to the park and had a picnic. The kids loved our little vacation. It's good to have things close by to see and do and we can be tourists in our own town.

Blessed so much
Life as we know isn't a walk in the park. We have challenges unique to ourselves. I know that we are given challenges that the Lord knows we can handle. Not being exempt from this, I too have had my own challenges in life. But as of yet, I have had very healthy children, which I am extremely thankful for. Recently, I've learned of an old high school classmate who has two young children that are extremely sick and need of financial help to pay for all their costs. I have their link at the side. Please help if you can. They would greatly appreciate it.
